"David Allen's show was thoroughly unique, delightful and an enjoyable experience David cleverly created a show that complemented the themes of the 2004 Summer Reading Club "Dragons, Books and Quests". "A note of thanks for your visit to the Eatonville Library. The children at our library were enthralled with your beautiful slides. Your presentation was lively, educational and best of all allowed participation. Your take on many everyday objects was truly unique and it introduced to the children (and adults) a whole new way of looking at the world. Thanks again and much success with your shows. " Kim Pook, Children's Services. Eatonville Branch,
Toronto Public Library.
"Our Willow children adored David Allen of Tiny World. From the youngest to the oldest all the kids eagerly participated in trying to guess what the pictures really were. Many times they did better than the teachers! Mr. Allen kept his presentation varied and his pace was just right. We only wished it could have gone on longer. This unique and stimulating program is both highly enjoyable and highly instructive. It is a great way to enrich the curriculum". Tammy Barrett, Principal, Willow Academy.
"The children in our group were JK-Grade 3 and all of them were able to participate actively. The adults were also able to stay interested and involved. We appreciated your straightforward and respectful manner with the children and the combination of information, humour and artistry in the photographs." Laura Schein Principal Teacher, The School House.
"David Allen's colourful and interesting slide shows initiate discussion and provoke thought, and provide an excellent springboard for further curriculum related activities." Tanya Chatterjee Teacher, Swansea Public School.
"David Allen presented the Tiny World slide shows at the Runnymede
P.S. Library. The students thoroughly enjoyed the presentations and it
was very appropriate for JK to Grade 3. Some students are still talking
about the 'cool' things they had seen. One of the Grade 1 teacher's said
it fits right into the curriculum." Vangelia Nitsis Librarian, Runnymede Public School.
"David Allen's presentation to my Grade 2 class involved every
student with its imaginative use of the images and David's lively questioning." Laura Brocklebank Teacher, Palmeston Public School.
